1995 Hatteras 39 Convertible

Preliminary Listing

Salty Dog is a very nice example of the highly respected Hatteras 39' Convertible, built by the venerable Hatteras brand from 1995–1997. This is a boat that delivers capabilities well beyond what you would typically expect from a 39' yacht. Both her current and previous owners enjoyed Salty Dog primarily as an all-purpose family boat rather than a hard-fished tournament boat, and it shows. She has been enjoyed, maintained, and equipped for comfortable cruising and family adventures.

What really sets this 39' Hatteras apart is her combination of Hatteras construction, exceptional sea-keeping ability, and impressive equipment. Her hardtop, swim platform, and davit system add functionality and versatility you simply don't find on every yacht in this size range. Her engines have been overhauled and are reportedly showing less than 1,000 hours since overhaul, adding another important level of confidence for her next owner.

As a yacht broker, I don't often get the opportunity to offer a boat with this combination of quality, pedigree, condition, equipment, and capability—especially at a reasonable price. If you're looking for a proven Hatteras with the size to be manageable but the capability to take you well beyond the ordinary, Salty Dog deserves your attention.
